		<description>Really, all this vitriol over the ducks?  It is a sad story, there is no escaping that.  But this is a fixable issue - effective measures can be taken to avoid this kind of problem in the future.  Now how many birds do you think die each year flying into sky scrapers in Toronto?  Do you have a solution for that?

Do you not think the claim that &quot;world media attention&quot; has &quot;remained fixed&quot; on this issue since it happened is a little overblown?  Because I&#039;m betting most people have never thought about this issue since it happened, if then.

The oil sands absolutely have a public relations problem, but it seems to me largely a problem of not getting the facts out effectively and not properly responding to shrill environmentalists that don&#039;t fully understand the issues, or do and hyperbolize them on purpose.</description>
